For months I have been complaining about the snow. For those of you who live in the Boston area you know, this winter has been brutal. Week after week, it was the same. A storm hit, enough for us to have to shovel for hours, but not enough for me to have a snow day. Sure Josh had his fair share of snow days, but the more they racked up, the less exciting they were. I really never thought an entire week would go by without having to get up at the crack of dawn to shovel 5+ inches of snow. I certainly never thought I would see our grass again.
I mean, we really did have a lot of snow. Remember this
post? And this
one? And this
one? If there was one thing we did not have a shortage of around here, it was snow.
But then a funny thing happened. The weather warmed up a bit; it started raining here and there, and all of a sudden...grass!! I can actually see the grass in my backyard. And in my front yard. It is a miracle.
Yes I know this is Boston and the likelihood of at least one other storm this year is high, but that is ok. At least there is someplace to put it!

Look at that beautiful grass! You can even see our patio furniture poking out. |

I really never thought this would happen. The mound of snow that was spilling over the fence is finally melting. You can actually see our neighbor's yard! |

Our front yard! I almost forgot we had bushes up there :) |

Look how small that snow pile is. It's a spring miracle! |
Have I mentioned how much I love the month of March? Because really, I love the month of March. It is by far my favorite :)
