An Art Show by Jagger

My cousin Jagger blows my mind. He truly is an amazing boy with so much love and so much talent.

Jagger is my older cousin Stacey's son. Growing up I idolized Stacey. She was SO COOL! She knew all of the hottest bands, was super fashionable, and always took me out for special girls lunches to the Hard Rock Cafe. There was no one better than her. We have always had a special connection and it was such a thrill to be a part of her wedding. Then, she did the coolest thing of all, she had Jagger.

Jagger was the first of the 'great-grand-kids' in my family and everyone just adored him. He was perfect! So cute and so snuggley. He truly was a joy. And he still is. He is sweet, kind, huggable, and super talented and smart. He is also autistic. Learning what autism is and what someone with autism needs took a little bit of time, but everyone in our family was up for the job. The past 7 1/2 years of Jagger's life have been filled with wonderful visits, tons and tons of disney movies, visits to the sprinkler park, birthday parties at Chuck E. Cheese and Pump It Up!, and more love and heartwarming moments than we could have imagined.

This year at school Jagger participated in an art project. What he is able to create at only 7 is out of this world. Stacey is bursting with pride, and so are the rest of us. His artwork is well beyond his years and the fun he had creating it shows in the work.

Enjoy some original pieces created by the one and only Jagger!

  1. Samantha - I thought you might post Jagger's pictures but I never thought you would write such a lovely blog about us. You are such an amazing cousin and I always thought of you more like a little sister than a cousin. You have matured into such a lovely young woman and I hope you know how incredibly proud of you I am.
