Cupcake Camp

Earlier this week I had a very special treat. My friend Rachel invited me to go to a tasty event with her. When I heard about it there was no way I could turn it down. Her neighbor, Kelly of Mix Bakery, was participating in Cupcake Camp, and Rachel wanted to go support her...and eat cupcakes.

For those of you who have not yet heard of Cupcake Camp, it is an ad-hoc gathering of people who love to bake and eat cupcakes in a friendly, non-judgmental environment. A blogger friendly event where I could eat cupcakes, she didn't have to ask me twice!  

 

I am so glad we went. It was a blast! There were a ton of people and even more cupcakes. Each stop we made was better than the next. I still can't believe that there was a whole event dedicated to cupcakes.

Kelly's cupcakes were fantastic! I highly recommend the peanut butter cup cupcakes. They were beyond delicious.

Aside from Kelly's treats, my other favorite was a chocolate chip cookie dough cupcake made by The Frosted Cupcake Bakery. It was out of this world! I could go on and on about each cupcake, but really, these photos speak for themselves. Enjoy, and try to refrain from licking your computer screen.
