Crockery Cooking

Nothing says late fall in New England like crockery cooking. There is something about making a yummy, warm, delicious crock pot meal that just welcomes in the cold weather.

There are so many things to love about the crock pot. It is an easy, low maintenance way to make a meal. All you do is throw a bunch of veggies, spices, and some meat into the pot and stir occasionally. It stays on all day and creates the perfect dinner. And, to top it all off, the smells that come from kitchen are amazing. I can't think of a better way to make a meal. I have a feeling this will be the winter of the crock pot.

Every year, to battle the cold weather, Josh and I make our favorite crock pot meal, sloppy joes. They are to die for! The smells entice us all day and we love when it is time to eat. This meal is hands down one of the best we eat all year long.

Seriously out of this world sloppy joe on a sandwich thin

with of course a nice salad on the side

Do you have a favorite crock pot recipe?
