Brownie Cookies

Last night I decided to bridge an interesting divide. Bake a parve treat that could also double as a Christmas cookie. While I was at a loss of what to do, I knew my mom would have the perfect answer. In her very large (and very yummy) collection of recipes, she found me exactly what I needed, chocolate chip brownie cookies. And to fulfill both my desire to bake parve and my love of short cuts, the cookies started with brownie mix. AWESOME!

I doubled the recipe, but all you need to make the Brownie Cookies is:
1 box of brownie mix
1/2 cup flour
1/2 cup water
1/4 cup vegetable oil
1 egg
6 oz. of chocolate chips

Mix all of the ingredients together

And then fold in the chocolate chips.

After mixing, grease pans and use a teaspoon to scoop cookies onto the sheet.

Bake at 350 for 8-10 minutes. The recipe should make 2-3 dozen cookies (the smaller you make the cookies the better.)

Make sure the cookies are completely cool before packaging them up. And when you do package them up, make sure you package them cutely!

And there you have it. Kosher, parve cookies for Josh and I to enjoy, and cute Christmas cookies for my coworkers.  Thanks mom!
