For a while now Josh and I have been doing our best to squeeze out the water from our tofu before cooking. We have come up with many unique and interesting techniques like this
one, and this
one. But no matter how hard we tried, we could not come up with a good way to drain the tofu...until now.
For Hanukah, Josh's sister gave us a tofu press! It was like a dream come true. We were so excited to break into it. Last night we FINALLY made some tofu. And the press was awesome!! It worked great and it made the tofu taste even better than usual.

The amazing machine |
Just out of the package |
Placing the top on |
After only a few minutes |
Time lapse, 1 hour (just enough time to get a run in) |
Check out how much smaller that tofu is |
Of course we had some stir-fry too |
Not a bad meal at all |
Thank you Jana! We
are obsessed with love our new tofu press!
