Sigh

This is how I felt about the snow yesterday.

As you know from reading here and here, I hate the snow. And yesterday, we got a TON of snow. It snowed and snowed and snowed. And then we shoveled and shoveled and shoveled. YUCK!

Today I am very sore. Very, very sore. My arms hurt, my legs hurt, my back hurts. And I'm exhausted. We shoveled for 3 hours straight in the morning and then another 2 hours in the afternoon. It was a hard day. But our driveway is nice and clear, we can all get our cars out, and hopefully the snow will stay away for a while.

There was one silver lining from yesterday though. Our neighborhood was all about community building. We met a ton of new people on our street. Despite the horrible weather, everyone was actually in a good mood. People helped one another, and even in our extra large shared driveway, it was all hands on deck. I was very impressed.

Check back later for some serious snow pics.

  1. I hear you... yesterday's snow day wasn't much fun with all the manual labor to be done. I'm ready for spring!

  2. @Emily, you said it! I wish it were spring, or summer, or really any other season that does not involve snow! Hope you are healing well today.
