Ever since my brush with
Bob Harper I have been more inspired than ever to eat colorful meals than ever before. Luckily Josh is not only always on board to eat more colorful (we tend to have very color-free meals), but he is more than happy to make colorful meals! I love when he cooks.
Aside from all of the health benefits of colorful meals, generally in our house eating colorful food also means eating tofu. And, eating tofu means using our
tofu press. And using our tofu press makes me happy. Seriously this thing never gets old.

Look at those colors! The makings of another yummy meal. |

Tofu press before. |
|
Tofu press after. UNBELIEVABLE. |
|
We put the tofu in a frying pan with just a touch of olive oil.
It browned up nicely and had a lot of natural flavor to it. |
|
Once the tofu was done it was time to sauté the veggies, also in olive oil. |
|
We added some Soy Vey (my favorite!) for extra flavor. YUM. |
|
The last step was to throw it all together and mix up all of the flavors. |
|
Tofu stir fry on rice. The perfect meal in a bowl. |
So Bob, does this meal live up to your colorful meal standards?
Looks wonderful! I haven't found a way to eat tofu that I love, but Soy Vey is a fabulous idea...I will try that!
ReplyDelete@lizzy, Soy Vey makes everything taste good...even tofu!!! What other types of marinades do you like for stir fry?
ReplyDeleteTofu press!?!?!?!?!? I also just put a big heavy pan on my tofu! I didn't know there was a gadget! Thanks for sharing!
ReplyDelete@Tiffany, you have to try one! It makes your tofu so much firmer and hold the flavor so much better. It is also really fun to use!
