Happy Birthday Auntie!

I am by far one of the luckiest girls around. I not only have wonderful parents and a great uncle, but I have the best aunt in the world. Seriously, no one can hold a candle to her. Plus, like Cher and Madonna she only needs one name: Auntie.

Auntie is the coolest, hippest woman I know. She travels the world, exercises harder than I ever could, has eaten at every new and trendy restaurant in Boston, and has always, always been there for me when I needed her. She has sat through countless dance recitals and graduations and made me the most beautiful wedding shower. We have shared so much over the years, but my favorite was when she and Leon shared London with me. It was a wonderful trip and I loved getting to see their favorite city through their eyes.

    What a wonderful post. I am that special Auntie too so I can relate to the connection. It is a very special relationship. I am the one that is always there no matter what.
